Synopsis
‘He’ presents a disquieting and enigmatic depiction of a man teetering on the edge of suicide, embodied with haunting intensity by James Devereaux. Rouzbeh Rashidi intertwines the protagonist’s raw, revealing monologues with a series of scenes and images that cloak the narrative in layers of ambiguity. The film’s deliberate and hypnotic rhythm, combined with its audaciously experimental structure, culminate in an unconventional and intellectually challenging interpretation of its disturbing subject matter.
